Jarrid's grandma (Nanou) and his parents gave the girls ice skating lessons for their birthday. Here are a few pics of the first lesson. I didn't get many because the girls were requiring a lot of attention. For any other parents considering this, my advice to you is to wear tennis shoes. I nearly had my big toe chopped off by miniature ice skate blades. The girls did really well, though. They stood up, learned how to fall, and chased toys on the ice.

I haven't had a computer in a while, thanks to Total Zone computers. They've been repairing my computer for about 2 months, so I will do a wild recap. First up, pictures from the pool...

We went to the 4th celebration at our local park. They had free tattoos, moonwalks, etc. The girls of course wanted no part of the moonwalk. After dark we watched the fireworks...from inside the car with the windows rolled up and the radio on. They liked the show, but not the sound effects! I could only grab a couple of halfway decent pictures, so here ya go.

We have a share group every Sunday night, where the kids go to another room to play. Here's some pics of the mayhem.

We finally broke out the slip and slide today. The girls didn't really get the concept. I had to stop the video when the clothes started coming off.

We just got back from a day at the beach. I forgot my bathing suit bottoms, so I'm not in any of these pictures. The girls had a great time...I couldn't believe how excited they were.

Emma got a new haircut. I just couldn't take that shaggy stringy mess anymore. Here's the best picture she would let me take of it.

We got a dog...for a week. Then we had to give it back. This is some video of the girls playing with it.

The Zoo

I didn't really take any Christmas pictures, so I pretty much skipped that blog. However, there is one of Addi in her PJ's on Christmas morning. This blog really is to show off our first pony-tail. Now that's blogworthy. It stayed in Emma's hair for about 45 minutes, but the point is that we had one!

The girls have been climbing out of their beds for about a month now. This is how I found them when I checked on them before bed tonight.
